DirectPay Starts 7/1: Help Your Insureds Stay Covered

We have big news to share. Beginning with policies effective 7/1/25, all AmTrust Workers’ Comp renewals through BTIS will move to our new DirectPay billing platform.

You asked for it, and we delivered.

In addition to providing a better experience for your clients, DirectPay now gives you powerful tools and access as the agent of record:

  • View your insureds' billing status in real time
     
  • Log in or call DirectPay for support or payment updates
     
  • Generate customizable reports across your book
     
  • See who is paid, past due, or needs to take action
     
  • Gain more control and visibility into your accounts

Policies will still renew automatically. However, insureds must complete a quick, one-time setup to keep billing active and avoid cancellation for non-payment.

Note: Accounts currently on PAYO (Pay As You Owe) or PSR (PAYO Self Reporting) are not required to make this change. 

New for AmTrust Workers’ Comp Renewals Beginning June 9:

What You’ll Receive:

  • Weekly email every Tuesday
  • List of your renewing AmTrust Workers' Comp policies that still need to complete DirectPay setup
  • The list will automatically update each week to reflect:
    • New upcoming renewals
    • Removal of any insureds who have completed their setup

What Your Insured Will Receive:

  • An email from directpay@btisinc.com, sent on your behalf as the agent of record
  • Your name and contact info included for support
  • A direct link to the BTIS DirectPay Portal, with clear instructions on how to select a payment plan and enter their payment info
 

What to Expect:

  • Policies will continue to renew automatically
  • Insureds must complete a one-time payment setup in DirectPay
  • Policies will cancel for non-payment if setup is not completed

 

We appreciate your help to ensure a smooth transition. Please check in with your insureds to confirm they’ve completed their DirectPay setup. This quick step is critical to keeping their policies active and avoiding cancellations for non-payment.
