Relevant Work Experience
• 3+ years
Responsibilities
• design, code, debug, and test web site applications and web services
• develop concepts and strategy in a collaborative environment
• present technical solutions to staff and management
Mandatory Requirements
• experience with C# or vb, .NET Framework (3.5 or higher)
• Visual Studio 2008 or 2010
• strong grasp of Javascript
• strong grasp of OOP principles and design
• familiar with various software design methodologies
• experience with source control
• UI skills - HTML, CSS, strong familiarity with W3C standards
• experience with n-tier develpment
• SQL Server 2005 or 2008
• solid understanding of relational databases
• experience with entire SDLC
• Strong analytical problem solving skills
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ability to take the lead on a project
• work independently as well as within a team
• ability to regularly meet tight deadlines
• BS in Computer Science or related experience,
• US Citizen or permenant resident
Highly Desired Skills
• MVC framework
• JQuery, AJAX
• WCF services
• unit testing / test driven development
• Inversion Of Control (IOC), ORM (e.g. LINQ TO SQL, NHibernate)
• Cruise Control / nightly builds
• interface driven design
• knowledge of insurance industry
• graphic design
• mobile application development
