Description: Job Purpose: Minimizes risks by accepting and rejecting insurance applications; modifying insurance coverage. Job Duties: Reviews insurance applications on-line to insure adherence to established underwriting standards. Determines degree of risk by examining application forms, inspection reports, and other documentation. Gathers information by communicating with brokers Provides information by answering questions and requests; quoting rates; explaining company underwriting policies Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Maintains inter- and intradepartmental work flow by fostering a spirit of cooperation. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Skills/Qualifications: Analyze Information to determine Risk Research Skills-Ask questions to determine if we are providing the best service and products for our customer-educate on our products and service-introduce new lines we are offering Attention to Detail Decision Making, Coordination, Teamwork, Organization/Time Management, Excellent Communication, Excellent Computer and Internet Skills.
