Hardware and Connection Speeds

The internet can be very slow if you use an old, retired computer with a dial up modem. All our site development is done with optimization in mind, but for the best internet experience you need at least:

  • At least Pentium 166 MMX  (Pentium II 233 or Higher recommended) 
  • Operating systems Windows 95B or Higher 
  • At least 128 Mb of Ram 
  • Sound Card (if you want to hear audio portions of our site)
  • 56.6 Kb Modem (ISDN/DSL/Cable or higher recommended)

Plug-In Requirements

This site does make use of some  Flash components. Your browser is likely already configured with the required plug-ins, but if not you can download them from Macromedia's Website.

Also, we work with some music and other Multimedia. For optimal internet viewing, and reading of some published documents, we recommend  that you have the following plug-ins installed: (Click Link to Download)

Browser Settings

We recommend using version 7 or higher of Internet Explorer.

In most cases the default settings of your browser are just fine to view our site. However, this website makes full use of HTML and Java and other technology features which may be properly viewed if you use a compatible browser.

Cookies must be turned on in order to use our site. In most cases, cookies are turned on by default .

Enable Pop-Ups for our site:  We use pop-up styled windows to help us communicate important information with minimal interruption to work in progress.  Please enable pop-ups for our site in your browser settings.

We tested this website with the following version of the Internet Explorer browser and operating systems.

NOTE: Unfortunately we were not able to test our site under Linux, WebTV and AOL environments


Set Browser to Always Get Latest Version of the Web Page:
From the browser menu:

  •  select Tools
  •  select Internet Options
  •  click the Settings button
  •  from the choices at the top labeled "Check for new versions of stored pages", select "Every visit to the Page"

Images
All the images created were done using PhotoShop and Paint Shop Pro, in true color.

The images that you view on-line are digital reproductions of artwork and may not fully represent the true quality of the images. For best viewing results, please set your monitor for more than 256 colors.  These pages and images were designed for high quality resolutions, better color quality and most viewers.

Fonts

Our font properties are controlled with *.css files (Cascading style sheets) In most cases your browsers default setting should be fine, but if the fonts appears too big, just set it one size smaller and check to see whether it looks better.

This will make the pages appear closer to the way we have created it. This problem may also be solved by using a lower resolution  - for example: 1600x1200 pixels are just to high for this site.
