Eligibility Guidelines |
-
The owner must have a minimum of three years management experience in the type
of business being insured.
-
The business must be financially stable.
-
The business must have favorable loss experience.
-
The owner operates only those businesses described on the Master Pac
application.
-
All the known exposures/operations are considered typical (occurring in the
majority) for the class.
-
Buildings insured must not be vacant, unoccupied or have a seasonal occupancy.
-
For both tenants and building owners, where buildings are 50 years or older,
the plumbing, heating, wiring, and roof must have been updated in the past 30
years.
-
There are no current cited violations of fire or life safety codes.
-
All operations must be listed in the Risk Classification Table, and the premium
for incidental exposures should not exceed 25% of the policy premium.
-
No more than 3 losses within the past 3 years.
-
Current owners must have successfully operated this or a similar business for
at least 3 years. EXCEPTION: Apartment, Building Owners and Condominium
programs and risks that are franchises.
