BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Builders & Tradesmen's Insurance Services, Inc. (BTIS),
located in Rocklin , CA , was founded in August 1998. The genesis of BTIS was
an artisan contractor program developed by Mr. Norbert Hohlbein in 1992. Mr.
Hohlbein decided that he wanted to go into business for himself after having
been in corporate life for almost 30 years. In early 1998, he began the
development of a newly enhanced artisan contractor program.
The first two employees of BTIS were his daughter, Lisa Erickson,
and son, Paul Hohlbein, both of whom have many years of insurance company
experience. The youngest sibling, Jeff Hohlbein, recently returned to the
organization as well. Strong family ties and dedication have helped the
organization achieve success.

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF BUILDERS & TRADESMEN'S INSURANCE
SERVICES, INC.
At BTIS, we pride ourselves in being specialists
in providing insurance for the construction industry. The entire executive team
has past experience working in this arena. Collectively, BTIS has over 127
years of experience in the insurance industry within its management team. Our
professional staff of underwriters has insurance company backgrounds with more
than 75 years' experience of underwriting commercial/contractor risks.
Since our beginning, we have had one steady goal
in mind; providing outstanding service to our customers. With the use of the
internet we are able to deliver unmatched turnaround time on quotes and policy
issuance. By utilizing the latest in technology we achieve what few other
organizations have: immediate turnaround, unbeatable service, and great value
for our clients.
As Sam Walton of Wal-Mart once said:
" The goal as a company is to have customer
service that is
not just the best, but legendary.
Each and every day we strive to provide legendary
service to our customers and if we are not, we want to hear about it. We will
do the best that we can to correct any mistake that we have made or clear up
any confusion that there may be. Without the customer, we are nothing! We will
always remember that.
Sincerely,
Norbert Hohlbein
